How to Achieve a Non-Stick Frying Pan

Wash: Clean the pan thoroughly with very hot, soapy water, scrubbing the entire surface with a sponge. Dry: Carefully dry the pan completely. Oil: Pour a small amount of oil into the pan, just enough to cover the bottom, and tilt the pan to distribute the oil evenly. Heat up: Heat the pan until the oil begins to smoke. Then, carefully discard the oil and wipe the pan clean with paper towels.

Warning: This thin, 1.2mm carbon steel pan distributes heat evenly and quickly, reaching up to 600°F/350°C in the oven. Use low to medium heat to avoid burning food, which can cause it to stick to the pan.
